Swedish Interiors

Ever since I saw this hallway on the blog greige (first image below), I haven’t been able to get it out of my head and wanted to know about its location and its inhabitants. The images are from the Swedish site Skona hem. This apartment (yes, apartment unless something got lost in translation) in Stockholm belongs to twin sisters who live together with their families, plus dogs and cats! This home has beautiful details, fabric, art and a view to boot. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

The hallway is on a grand scale but the furniture and accessories are humble and unexpected. I love the vaulted ceiling and millwork.skona_hemviagreige

The lime green art is striking paired with the vibrant pink 60’s lamp in one of the “common rooms.”skonahemviagreige3

And another…

The Sanderson fabric and skinny bookshelves add colour and interest to one of the many bedrooms.skonahemviagreige5

This is a view out the bedroom window. Several of the rooms have these “built-in sofas.”skona_hemviagreige2

  1. Swedes and their gorgeous use of white. Sigh. I wish I could do it. My toddler prevents it however. Ah ha ha

  3. Gorgeous! I love the bright and airy feel of those rooms. I can't tell for sure but the flooring looks like a herringbone pattern which I absolutely love!!
