For the Love of Green

I’m not one to decorate with the colour green personally but I do love the fresh vibe that it brings to a space.  In honour of today being St. Patty’s Day, here is some green inspiration for you from mint green to lime green and everything in between!

It’s almost exterior painting weather here in the North, so time to start thinking about what shade to paint your front door.

Shades of green in a kitchen designed by Feasby and Bleeks (loved Feasby’s work when she was an Editor at House and Home.) Any thoughts on the cabinet extension using MDF (think that’s what was said in the H&H video) – yay or nay?

Love this tile – it makes quite the statement!

Wish my office was always this tidy!

This new outdoor collection by West Elm (the Hoyt) isn’t green but would look stunning in your (green) backyard (and look, there are green glasses on the table…)

Margot just posted about this newly opened bakery in the Beaches and I couldn’t resist including it. Love the green door and the fact that their baked goods are natural and organic. Must visit one day!

  1. I was never a huge green fan; however I am loving some of the latest shades and their saturation.

  2. I do not like those cabinet extensions, but I love all the shades of green you've shown here. Oddly, I wear green often and never decorate with it. Some of these photos are making me rethink that - like that beautiful soft blue bedroom with the green side table.

  3. Love the Green!! I actually haven't really decorate the place with much "green" before other than that slipcover last spring. But it was a lighter green and I'm now crazy about Kelly Green! Found the most perfect green at DFO on friday and can't wait to put that in good use!

    Happy St. Patty's Day!

  4. I feel the same way. I like a little bit of green in a room. I do like the softer tones.

  5. Green is my favourite hue. Love it as a door colour like the one at Tori's Bakeshop. And those bedrooms are so lovely. Thanks Vanessa for the most lovely of round-ups.

  7. I love that green chair in the office image. I always have something in Green Apple green in my house, and never can seem to stray away from that color!
