1) Click here to see Eddie Ross work his magic on these fluted columns.
2) Jen featured Shannon Berrey’s bathroom reno on her blog. Shannon painstakingly sketched Schumacher’s Birds and Butterflies wallpaper on her bathroom walls.
Can you tell the difference?
3) Lindsay’s basement bathroom reno included a DIY pivoting mirror. So clever!
4) Joni shared this kitchen redo on her blog – small space but large on style. You can see before pics and learn more about blogger Slim Paley, also known as Carolyn Espley-Miller, who was responsible for the renovation.
Carolyn takes the most beautiful photographs like this one and shares them on her blog. Wouldn’t this look amazing blown up and hung over a sofa?
Her home was featured in September, 2010’s House Beautiful. You can see more photos and read the article here.
Did you read anything inspiring on the blogs last week?

I said the same thing this morning after visiting a my regular reads, "Damn there are some great bloggers out there!" It can be deflating at times, but I try to remember, it's not a competition - it's collaboration. It's a learning experience. It's inspiration. We blog about what we're passionate about - and it's awesome that there are so many creative-types out there! It's so neat to see what each individual brings to the table.
ReplyDeleteLove the post Vanessa! I especially love the bistro style kitchen. Apparently, bistro is on my mind today - my post today Bistro Chairs :)
ReplyDeleteGreat round-up, Vanessa :-) I have no idea where Shannon found the patience to replicate that wallpaper with paint - WOW! It came out great! And the picture of the rapids is gorgeous. Definitely art-worthy :-)
ReplyDeleteI read so many inspiring blog posts every week, I lose track! I should start doing round-ups like this on my blog so I at least have a record of where I found what.
