Here are those wallpaper panels again...great backdrop to
the blue and gold ornaments and accessories.
Those ceiling beams and oversize pendants dwarf
the dangling ornaments - love the dichotomy.
I feel so calm looking at this elegantly dressed dining room.
In comparison, this room has a lot of energy.
This red looks so fresh - you could style your
room like this year round.
Gold adds a bit of glam.
If space was an issue, this skinny tree would
be perfect.
Have always wanted to make one of these...
maybe next year.
Simple but stunning...tiny pearl-like balls on branches.
Love the idea of displaying old Christmas cards, postcards, photos.
The ever so simple but always statement-making ornaments
of one colour on display in glass bowls or urns. Love this with
the rustic table - it's that tension that makes the most eye
pleasing vignettes.

ReplyDeleteI like the elegance of pared down decorating. I used to go all-out with the decorations, but this year I'm holding back. I like the less-is-more approach :-) Plus it's easier to put up and pack away when there's less stuff!! ;-)
